Severe Weather Possible Sunday Evening/Overnight

As an approaching cold front moves into our area, we will see a chance for thunderstorm activity Sunday evening. These storms will pop up with the heating of the day and this will fuel the storm's growth. The primary threat for Sunday are possible isolated tornadoes and strong winds. Hail is possible as well. The primary threat include areas from the Lake of the Ozarks through Jefferson City and Sedalia. East of this area, storms are still very possible to develop later in the evening.

I will be tracking this storm system as it moves closer on the day Sunday. In the meantime, enjoy the warm day because Monday is looking like a snowy day! Monday we may see quite a bit of snow, perhaps some moderate accumulations.

I'll keep ya posted!
